Applying God’s Word

Father God,

In the noise of deadlines, meetings, and expectations, I confess how easy it is to miss Your still, small voice. I rush through decisions, carry burdens on my own, and often lead with instinct instead of insight. But You are always near, always inviting me to something better—a better way to live, lead, and love.

Help me not to miss it.

In my work, may I serve not for titles or approval, but with wholehearted devotion to You. In my home, teach me to love like Christ—sacrificially, patiently, without keeping score. In my friendships, give me courage to walk in truth, vulnerability, and accountability. In my health, help me steward the strength You’ve given so I can run my race well. And in my decisions, remind me to ask—not assume, to wait—not worry, and to trust—not control.

Jesus, I don’t want to just believe in You—I want to follow You fully. Let my obedience display my relationship with You in ways that are real, visible, and lasting. Shape my character more than my comfort. Make my life a reflection of Your grace, power, and wisdom.

Thank You for never giving up on me. Lead me today. Invite me again, and help me not to miss it.

I choose Your better way.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
