A Prayer for Learning Dependence
Father God, we come before You acknowledging that You are our source. You are the giver of wisdom, strength, provision, and life itself. We confess how easily we rely on our own experience, effort, and control—especially under pressure. Teach us to depend on You, not in theory, but in practice.
Help us see our time as a reflection of our trust. Show us where our schedules reveal self-reliance, and gently lead us toward rhythms that make room for You. Teach us to pause, to listen, and to wait without fear. Form in us hearts that trust You more than outcomes.
As we lead in our work and care for those entrusted to us, help us carry responsibility with humility. Strengthen us through brotherhood, honesty, and wise counsel. May we learn dependence together, supporting one another as You shape us.
We surrender control, receive Your guidance, and commit ourselves to walk by faith—trusting You in clarity and in uncertainty. We choose dependence today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen.
